Holme Valley Dog Walking

Just to say we have found the service superb. We have never had to use a cattery for our two cats and circumstances led us to need help this time whilst we were a way. It had enabled us to leave our cats in the safety of their home whilst we were a way on holiday and has given us great piece of mind in the knowledge that the cats have been well looked after and have played with them in the garden too. If you want the ladies will send pictures and updates whilst you are away. Walkies is a great find. Thank you both!

In early 2009, I inherited a property housing my two friends - 8 year old Patch a cat with high energy level, and Woo a 22 year old cat. After seeing them through the ordeal of the other pet sitter I was determined to find them a more personal and attentive experience for those times I had to leave them. To my delight, I discovered 'Walkies', whose proprietors Jane and Patricia gave Patch and Woo as much attention as I would (and clean and tidy up after them too!). I have used Walkie's services on a weekly basis and on other occasions to look after and care for my 4 dogs, house rabbit and 4 other cats and at principal residence when I am away, and will continue doing so. We have no hesitation in recommending Jane and Patricia for dog walking and sitting. We have an 22 mth old chocolate labrador who is very friendly, but also full of energy. We both work full time and although I work close enough to get home at lunchtimes I only have time to let Charlie out and take him on a very short walk. So having Jane and Patricia to walk him for 2hrs, a minimum of twice a week, during the day means he is a much happier, more relaxed dog in the evenings.

Jane and Patricia have looked after our border collie Daisy on a few occasions now. She has a great time on the walks and comes home happy and tired. I dont have to worry when she goes as i know she will be very well cared for and we can go away on a day trip or holiday knowing she is having a great time.

Jane and Patricia not only relate extremely well to the dogs in their care, but to humans as well! During a recent family crisis, I was very relieved to be able to leave my dogs with somebody that I knew would really care for them. I am very happy to recommend Walkies services.
